Don’t chase what you can’t catch When embarking on this process, you want to find out what words or phrases are commonly used by people conducting internet searches. More importantly though, you want to know the intensity of competition for certain keywords so that you can choose popular keywords with less competition and by so doing you increase your chances of ranking high on the search engines for those keywords. Remember; a key word with much traffic and good commercial worth is of little use to you if you will not manage top 10 ranking in Google for it and get the traffic and sales it can generate. Only chase what you can catch!On the other hand, if your strategy is to pay for online advertisement, you will need to know the much you will pay for certain keywords as well as the much your competitor pays for different keywords. Similarly, you need to establish if you are getting your money’s worth with regard to the sales conversions resulting from the keyword use. Is it too early or too late for keyword research?
